One evening my husband and I were on our usual stroll through Long Beach, chatting about life and how grateful we are to live somewhere so beautiful, when I looked down the road and spotted these towering sunflowers glowing in the fading sunlight. Like I so often do, I scurried off to take way too many reference photos.
I knew I'd found the one when I spotted a small grasshopper peeking out through the petals. Such a sweet reminder that life continues all around us, even when we don't notice.
