During my honeymoon I brought along my set of paints and some paper and painted various scenes that brought me joy. We stayed in a small town of Settignano, just a 15 minute bus ride into Florence, and it was one of my favorite stops of our trip. During one of our strolls exploring this small town we came across this gorgeous front gate, and I imagined who lived there, could you imagine walking up those steps to your rooftop terrace overlooking the Florence Duomo in the distance?? A dream.
